In the world of Treelings, construction is underway in preparation for the annual firefly festival! Beautiful, glowing masses of fireflies will be released only from the highest platforms in the city during the upcoming summer solstice. Six different guilds reside in the city, and they will compete to build their own tree as high as possible in each district. As chief of your district, each round you decide which guild you want to support in your part of the city as you want to lure the most spectators to your show on festival day and to release as many fireflies as possible.
Players take turns selecting cards representing the 6 guilds from the market. They then arrange the cards by type in columns to build their platforms. When the firefly festival card is revealed, scores are tallied. Players score points by comparing the number of cards in each of their columns to the ones to either side. Whoever scores the most points wins!
