  • Combining a tactical board game and the best elements of a strategy card game, Sorcerer creates a whole new board game experience. Two to four players start the game by creating unique sorcerers by combining a Character Deck, a Lineage Deck, and a Domain Deck. Once shuffled together they become the player’s Grimoire, which contains dark magic and evil minions to played during the rounds.

Each turn of the game, players alternate spending actions to play spells, draw cards, gain energy, or play minions. Players require energy each round for actions. Each round a dice roll determines the energy for all players, keeping each round unique, while offering balance since the energy outcome is the same for all players. T

he game has three different battlefields representing different sections of Victorian London. When a minion is played, players must decide which battlefield to put it into. It may only attack and use its abilities in that battlefield. If later a player decides it is needed elsewhere, they may spend an action to move it to a neighbouring battlefield. Minions do battle after all the player actions are spent, rolling battle dice equal to their attack, damaging or destroying enemy minions, or even capturing the battlefield itself. When a player captures 2 of the 3 battlefields, they win the game!
