The Thunderjaw is one of the coolest and most iconic machines in Horizon Zero Dawn. As you’d expect, it’s also one of the toughest to beat.
This is not a standalone game. A copy of Horizon Zero Dawn core game is required to play.
The Thunderjaw is an expansion for Horizon Zero Dawn The Board Game allowing hunters to face this colossal and awe-inspiring enemy in a heart pounding encounter, either at the end of a tracking deck or as part of a hunt the players have already undertaken.
Be warned, whether the hunting party’s original quarry, or an additional challenge worth greater glory in the eyes of the Lodge, this is a machine like none you’ve ever encountered before.
In a 1-2 player game, the Thunderjaw has a hit point value of 50, which scales up to 60 in 3-4 player games. That’s MUCH higher than any of the smaller machines in the game, and worthy of a machine of Thunderjaw’s massive size and stature.
